APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When issuing an item via Manage Inventory Work Center, when user
    locale is en_GB the Actual Date reverts the day and month
    numbers.
    STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
    Prerequisite: we are in a date in the month smaller or equal to
    12. If this prerequisite is not met, change the Maximo server
    date to meet it. For example, the date is 9th of December 2022.
    1. Set your user Locale to EN_GB, Time Zone to Europe/Amsterdam,
    Language EN
    2. Go to Manage Inventory Work Center
    3. Go to Storerooms
    4. Open a storeroom and try to issue an item
    5. The field "Actual Date" will be populated: 12/09/2022.
    
    6. Click on calendar  the date displayed is 12ve of September
    2022.
    7. Select a work order
    8. Click on Issue Item
    a.  an error message "BMXAA6096E - Actual Date cannot be later
    than the current system date" is displayed.
    b. if this error message is not displayed go in Maximo and open
    the details of the work order selected at step 7, in the Actuals
    tab, Materials sub-tab, the Actual Date is 12ve of September
    2022 instead of 9th of December 2022
    RESULT:
    The Actual Date has the day and month reverted
    EXPECTED RESULT:
    The Actual Date should be correct.
