APAR status

Error description

  • The following DLLs in <CANDLEHOME>\InstallITM are not signed:
    EantExt.dll
    ITMISUtil.dll
    kbb.dll
    nls_CNPSDataSource_cs.dll
    NTIRELIB.dll
    

Local fix

  • No Workaround available
    

Problem summary

  • Not all ITM executables and shared libraries are MS Authenticode
     signed.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Updated build packaging so that all ITM provided binary content
    is authenticode signed.
    
    Note that embedded Websphere(iw/iu and ii) components as well as
    some files that are longer updated may still be unsigned.
    
    
    The fix for this APAR is contained in the following maintenance
    packages:
