APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • PROBLEM: Received error and hang when trying to change unit
    cost or quantity in a Revised PO
    
    STEPS TO REPLICATE:
    1. Go to the Work Order Tracking application
    Create a work order (ZWO1)
    Save and approve
    
    2. Go to the Purchase Order application
    Create a PO (TESTPO1)
    Set Vendor: FSC
    In POLINE, Click add
    Set Line Type: Standard Service
    Set Item: ELEV
    Set Quantity: 2
    Set Unit cost: 10
    Set workorder: ZWO1
    Set Receipt Required: Checked
    Set GL account accordingly
    Save
    Approve
    
    3. Go to the Receiving application
    Find PO (TESTPO1)
    In the Service Receipts tab, receive Qty:2
    TESTPO1's Receipts status becomes COMPLETE
    
    4. Go to the Purchase Order application
    Find PO (TESTPO1)
    Click Revise PO
    
    5. Go to the PO Lines Tab and make the quantity blank
    Save
    
    6. Retrieve TESTPO1 (Revision 1)
    In PO Lines Tab, try to change quantity from blank to 2
    Or
    In PO Lines Tab, try to enter some value for unit cost
    
    RESULT: A red X error is received. If you click the X mark to
    see the message, nothing is displayed and the screen stops
    responding. The user is forced to exit from that PO
    
    EXPECTED RESULT: Error message should display. The UI should
    allow the user to continue
    
    REPORTED IN VERSION: Tivoli's process automation engine 7.6.1.2
    
    AFFECTED APPLICATION (for Maximo Only): Purchase Order
    application.
