Error description

  • In Maximo instance when there are inspection forms with
the same INSPFORMNUM value across different ORGs/SITEs,
when such a form is applied to route stops in
    Maximo
the application will show the INSPECTIONFORM.NAME value from a
    different ORG/SITE.

    Steps to duplicate:
*assuming form numbers exists for all organizations, here is how
to handle this pre-requisite in demo database:
    1. In manage Inspection Forms, create 2 or 3 forms and change
    them to ACTIVE.

    2. Change the user's default insert site to one which is part of
another org and create another 2 or 3 forms, then change them to
    ACTIVE.

    3. From Organizations application, access these 2 orgs and
change their Autonumber Setup, from both org and site levels,
then change their INSPECTIONFORMNUM to some random lower number
which has already been used to identify a form, then go through
the steps 1 and 2 again.

    4. Check if there's any form with a repeated INSPFORMNUM. There
could be forms like that or not. It's a hit or miss. If there
    isn't any repeat steps 1, 2 and 3.

Now to the steps for this particular scenario:
Create a Route with Route Stops associated to inspection forms

    1) Login to Maximo with an account that has access to all
    organizations listed above
    2) Go to the Routes application
    3) Click the new route button in the toolbar, enter a route ID
    and description
    4) Select an asset (siteid matching siteid the route is being
    created for)
    5) Associate an inspection form with the route stop just added
    above
    6) Select an inspection form (text in the inspection form name
confirms the form is associated with the correct site/org)
    7) Inspection form number is returned to the route stops list
    8) Save the route
    9) The SAME form name is shown in the route stops list after
    save

Now, apply the created route to a WO
    1) Go to Work Order Tracking
    2) Create a new work order (+)
    3) Enter a WO description and Save
    4) Select the Apply Route menu item under More Actions
    5) Select the route that was created above

    RESULTS
The correct route was applied to the WO but the wrong inspection
    form name is showing (MPC)

    EXPECTED RESULTS
The inspection form name should be the one from the site
    route showed.
