APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
    
    1. Go to Locations application.
    
    2. Create a new Operating Location with any valid number.
    
    3. Go to Assets application.
    
    4. Create a new Asset with any valid number and associated to
    the Location created above.
    
    5. Change the Asset status to DECOMMISSIONED.
    
    6. From More Actions menu, select View Asset Status History.
    
    7. Note that the View Asset Status History dialog box contains
    one entry for the DECOMMISSIONED status.
    
    8. Go to Locations application.
    
    9. Bring up the Location in question and change its Status to
    DECOMMISSIONED.
    
    Note:
    In the Change Status dialog box, after selecting the New Status
    DECOMMISSIONED, the system automatically selects both options
    below, setting them as read-only:
    . "Roll New Status down to All Child Locations in All
    Non-Network Systems?"
    . "Roll New Status down to All Assets in All Changed Locations?"
    
    10. Go to Assets application.
    
    11. Bring up the Asset in question and, from More Actions menu,
    select View Asset Status History.
    
    RESULTS:
    The View Asset Status History dialog box displays a new entry
    for the DECOMMISSIONED status, that is the Asset has been
    DECOMISSIONED again: Status History, Status Date, and Change By
    have been added.
    
    EXPECTED RESULTS:
    Since the Asset was already DECOMMISSIONED when the Location has
    been DECOMMISSIONED, it should not have changed the status for
    Asset again.
