APAR status

Error description

  • When filtering on a column in Graphical View for Graphical
    Scheduling - Large Projects, a null error is displayed in the
    UI. The error in the logs will show:
    
    Failed to invoke Method: async_load_gantt_pages with signature
    [null] with args [id: 24, appId:schedmax, pageId:mainrec]
    java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException
    at sun.reflect.GeneratedMethodAccessor192.invoke(Unknown Source)

    Caused by:
    java.lang.NullPointerException
    at com.ibm.tivoli.maximo.skd.max.service.ActivityMaxDataManager
    .getRowCount(ActivityMaxDataManager.java:1897)
    at com.ibm.tivoli.maximo.skd.max.service.PagingManager.getRowCo
    unt(PagingManager.java:148)
    
    STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
    1. Go to Graphical Scheduling - Large Projects
    2. Open a project
    3. Move to Graphical View
    4. Filter for End Date
    5. On the resulting set, clear the filter data
    6. Repeat steps 2 and 3 multiple times.
    
    RESULT:
    
    BMXAA4214E - An unknown error has occurred. Please contact your
    system administrator for assistance. Gather the logs from the
    <HOME> directory and determine where and why the error occurred.
