APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • You can run a report using REST with a url such as:
    http://maximo_server/maxrest/oslc/os/MXAPIWODETAIL?action
    =genreport&reportname=wotrack.rptdesign&_lid=maxadmin&_lpwd=max
    admin and it will run but it will not get added to the
    REPORTUSAGELOG table and therefore will be no history of this
    report request.
    All reports being run should be tracked for audit purposes.
    There is not record of the report running or it?s success or
    failure.
    
    STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
    If you try the url above, after changing the server to a valid
    server name you should see that the report produces a pdf,
    downloads it to your workstation and shows you the report in the
    viewer
    
    RESULTS:
    if you then go and run the report usage report from the report
    administration application and supply the report name parameter
    - wotrack.rptdesign - you will not get a result showing this
    report you just ran.
    
    EXPECTED RESULTS:
    the report should show as having been run and being successful
