Error description

  • ERROR DESCRIPTION:
    
    Date format on Start Centers is different from the applications.
    
    
    
    PROBLEM:
    
    The data format on Start Center result sets are showing in a
    YY-MM-DD format.
    
    However the date format in all Maximo applications is showing
    DD-MM-YY format.
    
    
    PERFORMANCE ISSUE: No.
    
    STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
    
    Open the user Default Information dialog
    Change the Locale to "en_CA"
    Go to Work Order and create a new record
    
    Populate Schedule Start and Schedule Finish fields
    From the Start Center create a new Work Order result set portlet
    
    Add the WONUM, Report Date, Schedule Start and Schedule Finish
    columns
    Note that the date shows as YY-MM-DD format while from WO app it
    shows as DD-MM-YY format.
    
    Change the Locale to "pt_BR"
    Sign out and sign back in.
    Note that the date shows as DD-MM-YY format in both Start Center
    and WO app.
