IJ40657: ASSET FEATURE SELECTION ISSUE IN PM APPLICATION

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• User is not able to select the asset feature in PM application
  if all feature records on asset have the same label name.
  
  STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
  
  
  1) Go to Assets application and create a new Asset
  Mark "Linear?" box
  Complete all info under "Linear Referencing Details" section
  LRM: KILOMETERS
  Start Measure: 0,00
  End Measure: 500,00
  Save
  
  2) Under Features tab > Features > New row
  Add 5 lines as following. Note that this is only reproducible if
  the label is the same for all the features:
  
  Feature: CURVE
  Label: Linear Label
  Start Measure: 0,00 / End Measure: 100,00 (1st line)
  Start Measure: 101,00 / End Measure: 200,00 (2nd line)
  Start Measure: 201,00 / End Measure: 300,00 (3rd line)
  Start Measure: 301,00 / End Measure: 400,00 (4th line)
  Start Measure: 401,00 / End Measure: 500,00 (5th line)
  
  Save and Active this Asset
  
  3) Go to Preventive Maintenance (OG) or Preventive Maintenance
  standard and create a new PM
  Asset field : Asset created in the setp 1
  The feature field will be enabled > Click on Detail Menu >
  Select Value and click on any
  
  CURRENT ERRONEOUS RESULT: The feature field is not filled with
  the selected value, only the Feature Label field is filled and
  neither the Start Measure and End Measure fields in Linear
  Segment Details are filled in correctly. The Start Measure and
  End Measure fields are filled with the values informed on the
  Asset main screen.
  
  EXPECTED RESULT: The feature field should be filled in with the
  selected value, just as the Start Measure and End Measure fields
  in Linear Segment Details should be filled in with the values
  informed in the Features tab in the Assets application.
