IJ40637: WHEN CHANGING A STATUS FROM LIST TAB FOR A PM FROM ACTIVE TO INACTIVE THE STATUS IS NOT CHANGED.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When changing a status from list tab for a PM from Active to
  Inactive the status is not changed.
  
  STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
  1. Go To Preventive Maintenance Application and Filter the PM
  list for all records.
  2. Select the first 3 records on the list, 1008, 1009, 1010 -
  Ensure the records are ALL set to active
  3. Select the first 2 records and 1008, & 1009 click the
  generate the forecast from the select action menu
  4. In the Date enter 1000
  5. Other fields are left blank and unchecked
  6.Click OK
  7.A System message observed that there is a forecast for the two
  records 1008 & 1009
  8.Click OK
  9.Open the first record 1008 to verify that the forecast has
  been generated.
  10.Click the forecast tab the forecast details shows the
  generated forecast
  11.Repeat the same steps for record 1009 to verify the forecast
  has been generated .
  12.Click the list view
  13.Select the first 3 records on the list 1008, 1009 & 1010
  14. Go to more actions and change status to make the records
  INACTIVE
  15. Click OK
  
  16.System Message BMXAT0225E - THERE ALREADY EXISTS FOR DLT PM
  OR THE ASSOCIATED PM HERACHY. CHANGING THE STATUS OF THIS PM
  WILL CLEAR THE FORECAST
  17.Click OK all 3 records are set to Inactive
  18.Go to list view and select all 3 again 1008,1009 & 1010
  19.Go to more actions and change status an make all records
  active
  20.Click OK
  21.Select the first 2 records and 1008, & 1009 click generate
  the forecast
  22. In Date field enter 1000 Other fields are left blank and
  unchecked
  23.System Message BMXAT00191 - FORECAST FOR PM 1008 AT bedford
  SITE completed. & BMXAT00191 - FORECAST FOR PM 1009 AT bedford
  SITE completed.
  24.Click OK
  25. Change the order of the PM by clicking the arrow this will
  show the PM from ascending to descending
  26.Go to the last page of the displayed PM and select the
  records again 1008 1009 & 1010
  27.Go to Change status an make the records INACTIVE an click ok
  28.All records are INACTIVE
  29.BMXAA3200E PM 1010 STATUS CHANGED TO INACTIVE - BMXAT0225E-
  THERE ALREADY EXISTS FOR THIS PM OR ITS ASSOCIATED PM HIERARCHY.
  CHANGING THE STATUS OF THIS PM WILL CLEAR THE FORECAST
  
  EXPECTED RESULTS:
  By changing the status for PM record 1008 & 1009 the forecast
  should be deleted.
