APAR status

Error description

  • Problem Description:
Empty/Null fields will be removed from JSON outbound transaction
using MIF

Steps:
1. Go to Publish Channel and open MXASSETInterface for example.
Enable Event Listener and check Publish JSON? option
Enable Message Tracking and select to store message
2. Go to External System application --> EXTSYS1 (make sure is
enabled) --> Check if MXASSETInterface is added to Publish
Channels tab and is also enabled
3. Go to Assets application and change any record, it will
trigger an outbound transaction
Ex: Leave the description empty
4. Go to Message Tracking and check the outbound transaction
Results:
Empty/Null fields will be removed instead of showing them with
empty/null values
