Error description

  • This APAR includes fixes to various defects identified in CICS
Explorer V5.5.0.

Problem summary


    

  • - When a user opens a Workload editor on WLMSPEC that has been
deleted, a NullPointerException (NPE) occurs.
- When a user attempts to export view contents to CSV on
Windows, it fails due to an incorrect path.
- The Java service level shipped with CICS Explorer (Java 8 SR7)
should be updated to a later Fix Pack level.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • - A dialog will now pop up if the user opens a Workload editor
on a WLMSPEC that has been deleted.
- A fix has been made that allows view contents to be exported
to CSV using a full path on Windows.
- The Java service level shipped with CICS Explorer has been
updated to Java 8 SR7 FP5.

This fix will be made available in Version 5.5.22 of the CICS
Explorer.
