  • ERROR DESCRIPTION:
    
    Script with an action launch point calling the
    service.launchDialog() method results in a class not found
    exception.
    
    
    PROBLEM:
    
    When running a script with an action launch point calling the
    "service.launchDialog()" method results in a class not found
    exception.
    
    
    PERFORMANCE ISSUE: No.
    
    STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
    
    Using Inventory app (INVENTOR) as an example;
      Go to Application Designer and open the INVENTOR app
      Create new sigoption,
    
          Option: TESTSERVICEDIALOG
          Description: TESTSERVICEDIALOG
      Select Advanced option "This is an action that must be invoked
    by user in the UI"
      Click OK
    
    
      Click Add/Modify Select Action Menu
      New Row;
          Element Type: OPTION
          Key Value: TESTSERVICEDIALOG
          Header Description: Test service Launch Dialog
          Position: 99,999
          Supposition 0
      Go to Security Groups
      Grant TESTSERVICEDIALOG sigoption to MAXADMIN group
      Log out and back in to apply security group changes
    
    
      Create Automation script with Action Launch Point.
      Object: INVENTORY
      Script: python
      Code:
    
    service.log_info("STARTING TESTSERVICEDIALOGSCRIPT")
    service.launchDialog("PHYSCNTADJ")
    service.log_info("EXITING TESTSERVICEDIALOGSCRIPT")
      Go to Inventory app
    
      Run the script by clicking the TESTSERVICEDIALOG button from
    More Actions.
      It should launch the Physical count adjustment dialog, but
    nothing happens.
    
      The logs show that the script starts, throws a
    java.lang.ClassNotFoundException:
    psdi.webclient.system.controller.WebClientEvent
    
    
    CURRENT ERRONEOUS RESULT:
    
    Script with an action launch point calling the
    service.launchDialog() method results in a class not found
    exception.
    
    
    EXPECTED RESULT:
    
    Script with an action launch point calling the
    service.launchDialog() method should not result in an exception.
