IJ39519: ADDING MULTIPLE ATTACHMENTS AT ONCE TO A COMMUNICATION LOG RESULTS IN AN ERROR

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Description:
  When adding multiple attachments at once to a communication log
  an error message is displayed:
  "BMXAA4195E - A value is required for the URL / File Name field
  on the DOCLINKS object."
  After this it looks like the action has been cancelled, but an
  empty doclink record was still created.
  However it is possible to add more attachments one by one, but
  it should also be possible to add multiple files at once.
  Especially if a user has to add a lot of files.
  
  STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
  Steps needed:
  1) Go to application Work order Tracking and create a new work
  order
  2) In the toolbar menu, Select Action and choose Create >
  Communication
  3) In the Create Communication dialog, Attach file
  4) In the Create a File Attachment dialog, click on Choose files
  button
  5) Select 2 images and click Open
  6) Returning to the Create File Attachment dialog, 2 files are
  selected. Click OK button.
  RESULT:
  An Error message is displayed: BMXAA4195E - A value is required
  for the URL / File Name field on the DOCLINKS object.
  
  EXPECTED RESULT:
  The user should be able to attached multiple attachments without
  any error.
