APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Set the System Property mxe.doclink.defaultPrintDocWithReport to
    False since does not want all attachments to be printed with
    various Direct Print reports unless the user manually checks the
    option. As such this is working fine as long as the attachment
    is attached by a user to a record (ie Work Order, SR, PO, etc)
    but if the attachment is attached via the e-mail listener then
    the system property is ignored.
    
    PERFORMANCE ISSUE:
    No
    
    STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
    
    1- Go to System Property and set the
    mxe.doclink.defaultPrintDocWithReport to false, save and do the
    live refresh;
    2- Login server mail and send a mail to mail with attach;
    3- Certify that you received an email on Maximo email listener
    application;
    4- Go to SR application and find the SR that you created by
    mail;
    5- Click on attachments;
    Note that the file that you attached on email in checked for
    Print.
    Note 2, if you create an SR and add a file manually the flag
    Print is not checked.
    
    CURRENT ERRONEOUS RESULT:
    When an email is sent with an attachment, the SR is created with
    an attachments but the mxe.doclink.defaultPrintDocWithReport was
    not respected and is possible to select the value to be printed.
    
    
    EXPECTED RESULT:
    Send an email with an attachment, create the SR is with an
    attachments but the with the select the value to be printed as
    read-only.
