APAR status

Error description

  • DESCRIPTION:
    Below actions do not generate Outbound Messages in the Message
    Tracking application.
    Go to Inventory application. From Select Action menu, select
    "Issue Current Item" action. Issue the item to any Workorder.
    Go to Work Order Tracking application. Create new actual record
    for the item and save the record.
    
    
    STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
    1. Create new Publish Channel or use existing out of box Publish
    Channel, "MXINVBALInterface". Make sure it has out of box
    "MXINVBAL" or equivalent object structure associated. If using
    Publish Channel "MXINVBALInterface", remember to remove
    processing rules or test it with the record that passes the
    processing rules.
    2. Enable Event Listener from Select Action menu.
    3. Select "Message Tracking" option from Select Action menu.
    Mark "Enable Message Tracking" and "Store Message" checkboxes
    checked.
    4. Associate this publish channel to an external system and
    enable it.
    5. Go to Inventory application and filter the item record. From
    Select Action menu, select Inventory Adjustment -> Current
    Balance. Update the balance.
    6. Go to Integration -> Message Tracking application. You can
    find new message generated matching the action performed in the
    last step.
    7. Go to Inventory application. From Select Action menu, select
    "Issue Current Item" action. Issue the item to any Workorder.
    8. Go to Integration -> Message Tracking application. You will
    not find new message generated matching the action performed in
    the last step.
    9. Go to Work Order Tracking application. Create new actual
    record for the item and save the record.
    10. Go to Integration -> Message Tracking application. You will
    not find new message generated matching the action performed in
    the last step.
    
    
    RESULT:
    
    Outbound messages are not generated in the Message Tracking
    application for Steps 7 and 9.
    
    
    EXPECTED RESULT:
    Steps 7 and 9 should generate outbound messages in Message
    Tracking application.
