IJ38051: ACTUAL LINE IS NOT CREATED IN WORK ORDER AFTER RECEIVING ROTATING ITEM FOR PLANNED DIRECT ISSUE

APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Steps to reproduce:
    1 - Go to Master Item select PUMP100.
    2 - Duplicate PUMP100 to Make PUMP200
    3 - Mark the checkbox  Attach to Parent Asset on Issue.
    4 - Fill in any other required fields
    5 - Save the record, and activate, rolling changes into
    Inventory.
    6 - Go to Work order Tracking application and create a new
    workorder:
    Add Location = HWSTOCK
    Add Asset = 7400
    Add Work Type = EM
    7 - Go to Tab Plans. / Materials, Insert a new row.
    Item PUMP200
    Check box for Direct Issue?
    Add any other required fields
    8 - Save and Approve the Work Order. Status should be WMATL
    9 - Go to Inventory Application, select PUMP200.
    10 - Go to More Action / Reorder / Reorder Direct Issue
    Itms/Svcs.
    11 - Uncheck Run In Background
    12 - Click Preview to ensure that PUMP200 is in the list
    13 - Click run Reorder and note the PR number
    14 - Go to PR, Select PR created, go to More Actions / Create
    PO.
    15 - Create a PO from the PR noting the PO Number
    16 - Go to Purchase Orders and open the PO created above.
    17 - Save and Approve PO adding any necessary required fields
    18 - Go to Receiving.
    Select PO created, in Material Receipts tab Select Ordered Items
    
    Select PUMP200 and Save
    19 - Change Inspection Status if necessary
    20 - Receive Rotating Items / Autonumber /Ok.
    21 - Save
    22 - Back to Workorder Tracking and open the WO created above
    23 - Go to Actuals tab
    24 - Click on Materials tab and verify that a line for PUMP200
    item exists with rotating item in there
    
    Actual result: The line is not created for the item PUMP200
    
    Expected result: The line should be created for the item PUMP200
    with rotating item
