Error description
DESCRIPTION: Error messages appear in reorder logs for multiple instances of the ReorderCronTask for Direct Issue reorders during scheduled runs that occur every 5 minutes. BMXAA3466E - Arguments for ChangeState() are not valid. ChangeState("2","STOREROOM"). This then results in a reorder lock (entry in the REORDERMUTEX table) which then results in the following message in the logs: BMXAA3456E - Failed to perform reorder due to exclusive access by user MAXADMIN. Eventually the reorder lock clears, and the outstanding DI reorder runs successfully. However the error is now appearing with increasing frequency and is holding up the reorder process for the client. It was observed in the stacktrace that there's a call to dbshortcut connect, which intermittently loses the connection before it calls commit. In-between calling connect and commit, it runs 3 statements; one of the statements constantly takes over 10 mins. STEPS TO REPRODUCE: *General Condition 1. Log in to maxdemo instance 2. Expand the details for logfile 16. In the Value field enter a valid absolute path 17. Save the record 18. More Actions | Reload Request 19. Click the checkbox for BEDFORD, then click OK 20. Repeat the steps to create an instance for other Sites 21. Allow the instances to run for multiple Sites 22. View the resulting logs RESULT: Errors appear in reorder log: BMXAA3466E - Arguments for ChangeState() are not valid. ChangeState("2","STOREROOM"). BMXAA3456E - Failed to perform reorder due to exclusive access by user MAXADMIN. EXPECTED RESULT: Reorder process continues and completes successfully without errors REPORTED IN VERSION: Tivoli's process automation engine 7.6.1.2-IFIX20210407-1524 Build 20200715-0100
