Error description

  • Description:
    The attempt to delete the parent of a Location has the undesired
    effect that it deletes the locancestor table rows even though it
    was "undeleted"
    
    STEP 1
    Locations -> NEW
    
    LOC200, Type OPERATING Save
    More Actions -> Associate Systems with Location -> NEW Row
    System: LAN
    Parent: LEG-1
    Open Drilldown -> See that the Child and parent is there ok
    
    Request these SQL from database:
    select * from maximo.locancestor where location='LOC200';
    select * from maximo.locancestor where location='LEG-1';
    NOTE: This will return the rows that show the parent child
    relationship
    
    STEP 2
    Locations -> LOC200
    See section Parent of LOC200 in the LAN System
    Delete icon of the LEG-1 row
    Undelete icon of the LEG-1 row
    Save
    
    Request these SQL from database:
    select * from maximo.locancestor where location='LOC200';
    select * from maximo.locancestor where location='LEG-1';
    NOTE: There is no data returned.
    Open Drilldown -> See that the Child and parent are still there
    
    CURRENT ERROUNEOUS RESULT:
    The maximo.locancestor table has no data
    
    EXPECTED RESULT:
    Since the delete action was undeleted, the data should still be
    present.
