IJ37656: GRAPHICAL SCHEDULER APPLICATION IS SHOWING INCORRECT WORKING HOURS AFTER MODIFYING AVAILABILITY IN PEOPLE APPLICATION

APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Graphical Scheduler is showing incorrect working hours after
    modifying availability in People. This will happen the next day
    after the restriction was implemented, for the current calendar
    day. After restricting the availability, the hours will show up
    correctly for the next day. But after 24 hours, the hours from
    current day will be back to the initial value.
    
    STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
    Prerequisite: Data is set up on 07/02/22 (can be any day however
    for the consistency of the steps we will consider 07/02/22)
    
    1. Go to Work Order Tracking
    2. Create Work Order TEST
    3. In the Assignments tab, add 3 Labors, LABOR1, LABOR2 and
    LABOR3, each 8 hours, Start Date 07/02/22 - End Date 09/02/22
    4. Go to Graphical Scheduling
    
    5. Create a list TEST with the Work Order TEST
    6. Move to Graphical View
    
    
    Intermediate result: there is availability for work for 24
    hours on 08/02/22
    
    7. Go to People
    
    8. Bring up each of the Labors, LABOR1, LABOR2 and LABOR3
    9. More Actions - Modify Person Availability
    10. In the Modify Work Dates are, add 3 hours of SICK for each
    Labors on 08/02/22
    11. Go to Graphical Scheduling and bring up TEST list
    12. Move to Graphical View
    
    
    Intermediate result: there is availability for work for 15
    hours (24-3x3) on 08/02/22
    
    13. Wait for 24 hours to pass, it is now 08/02/22
    14. Go to Graphical Scheduling and bring up TEST list
    15. Move to Graphical View
    
    
    RESULT:
    
    There is availability for work for 24 hours on 08/02/22 - the
    availability reset as it was never restricted
    
    EXPECTED RESULT:
    The availability should remain at 15 hours
