Error description

  • After upgrading from MS Exchange 2010 to MS Exchange 2016,
e-mail sent in html format (the default) are no longer
processed by the Maximo e-mail listener. Error encountered:

    exist is thrown."

    STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
    1. The system property mxe.email.content.type is set to
    "text/plain".
    2. Formatted email listener is used and in the template, there
is one attribute using this relationship:
    CLASSSTRUCTURE.HIERARCHYPATH=INFO OR HELP \ HELP
    3. Send a plain text email, the attribute and value is being
    processed correctly.
    4. Send a html email, there's an error processing the attribute
where it becomes CLASSSTRUCTUREHIERARCHYPATH (without the dot).
And this error BMXAA4176E - Attribute
CLASSSTRUCTUREHIERARCHYPATH does not exist. Gather the logs
from the <HOME> directory and determine the process or app
    referencing the invalid attribute.

    RESULTS:
Error BMXAA4176E - Attribute CLASSSTRUCTUREHIERARCHYPATH does
    not exist is thrown.

    EXPECTED RESULT:
Mail to be processed successfully without error.
