Error description

  • This case is related to

APAR IJ25026 . The fix should include a db2 platform,  the
process  is working fine

in  Oracle and MSSQL  envirinmantes . The

Recreating the issue  just require restarting DB2 while Maximo
is running and your user is logged in.
L2 has reproduces it in 7612

Problem summary

  • ****************************************************************
* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:                                         *
* When running DB2, and if the database has been shutdown      *
* whilst maximo application server is running, maximo retains  *
* the database connections.                                    *

Problem conclusion

  • A new validation for DB2 database disconnect has been introduced
such that maximo application will detect closed database
connections due to database shutdown and will free these
connections.
