Error description
DESCRIPTION: When the User Time Zone is set to US/Pacific and the database and application server Time Zones are set to US/Eastern (UTC - 05:00), and the User enters Scheduled Start and End Times for an assignment, the Actuals tab shows incorrect values for the Start Time and End Times after the User clicks the Complete Assignment button. The fields in question are LABTRANS.STARTTIME, LABTRANS.FINISHTIME. STEPS TO REPRODUCE: Prerequisite conditions: Database and application server set to EST Time Zone (UTC -05:00) Verify or update the following values in the MAXVARS object: USECLIENTTIMEZONE = 1 LABTRANSTOLERANCE = 0:00 SUPPRESSACTCHECK = 0 1. Log in to maxdemo instance as WILSON 2. Go To Profile | Default Information 3. In the Time Zone field | Select Value | click US/Pacific 4. Log out 5. Log in as WILSON again 6. Go To Work Orders | Work Order Tracking 7. Common Actions | New Work Order 8. In the Location field enter "air101" and tab out 9. On the Plans tab | Tasks section | click the New Row button 10. In the Task 10 Description field enter "Task One" 11. In the Scheduled Start field click the Select Date and Time button 12. Click yesterday's date and select 1:00 PM for the time, then click OK 13. In the Estimated Duration field enter 1:00 14. Save the record 15. Common Actions | Approve Work Order 16. Click OK 17. On the Assignments tab click the New Row button 18. In the Scheduled Start field click the Select Date and Time button 19. Select yesterday's date and select 1:00 PM for the time 20. In the Task field | Select Value | click 10 21. In the Labor field enter "wilson" and tab out 22. Verify that the Hours field is defaulted to 1:00 23. Save the record 24. Click the Complete Assignment button 25. On the Actuals tab | Labor tab view the Start Time and End Time values RESULT: The Start Time value is 7:00 PM and the End Time value is 8:00 PM EXPECTED RESULT: The Start Time value is 1:00 PM and the End Time value is 2:00 PM REPORTED IN VERSION: Tivoli's process automation engine 7.6.1.1-IFIX20210817-1544
