Error description
PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Resource bar appears in red when there is resource available STEPS TO REPRODUCE: 1. Create a new calendar for 1 month, e.g. 1 Jan 2022 till 31 Jan 2022 in EAGLENA Organisation 2. Create a new 7 day shift (SHIFTA) starting on a MONDAY with a pattern with Start Time of 7am and end time of 3pm and 8 hours duration for Monday to Thursday and no work on Friday, Saturday or Sunday 3. Create a new 7 day shift (SHIFTB) starting on a MONDAY with a pattern with Start Time of 7am and end time of 3pm and 8 hours duration for Tuesday to Friday and no work on Saturday, Sunday or Monday 4. Apply both SHIFT A and SHIFT B to the calendar. You should see 8 hours on a Monday, 16 hours Tuesday Thursday , and 8 hours on Friday 5. Pick a Labour (in EAGLENA Organisation) with a craft of CARP (e.g. FINLEY) and set his calendar to the one created above and his shift to SHIFTA 6. Pick a Labour (in EAGLENA Organisation) with a craft of CARP (e.g. MURPHY) and set his calendar to the one created above and his shift to SHIFTB 7. Create a new work order with a target start date in the month covered by the calendar, e.g. 3 Jan 2022, with a duration of 5 hours and a planned craft of CARP requiring 1 person for the 5 hours 8. Create a new work order with a target start date in the month covered by the calendar, e.g. 3 Jan 2022, with a duration of 5 hours and a planned craft of CARP requiring 1 person for the 5 hours (you can duplicate the previous WO and Approve both work orders 9. Open Graphical Scheduling and create a schedule for the calendar above, both SHIFTA and SHIFTB, for start and end dates for the month (1-31 Jan 2022) and restrict to dates 10. For the work order query set up a query that will just display the 2 work orders you created 11. For the Labour query set up a query that will just display the 2 labour records we linked the shifts to 12. Go to the Graphical view 13. Labour Availability should look like this for a Tuesday: 14. Drag the first WO from Monday (3 Jan) to the Tuesday (4 Jan) 15. Drag the second work order to Tuesday (4 Jan). The resource bar on the bottom should not go red. It seems the issue is that because a the first shift is 8 hours, anything over 8 hours changes the colours to red, even though the hours is less than available. It seems the calculation to display the hours is different from the calculation displaying the colours. ACTUAL BEHAVIOUR: resource bar is red in color EXPECTED BEHAVIOUR: resource bar should be blue in color because there is labor available to do the work REPORTED IN VERSION: IBM Maximo Asset Management 7.6.1.2 IBM Scheduler 7.6.8
