A memory growth occurs when using RSAPSS algorithm with IBMJCEPlus provider
Problem conclusion
The JVM was updated to fix the memory growth when RSAPSS algorithm is used with IBMJCEPlus provider. The updated code, frees RSAPSS signature bytes without relying on garbage collection. The associated Hursley RTC Problem Report are: 146649 The associated Austin Git issues are 398 The fix was delivered for Java 8.0 SR7FP5 The files affected: ibmjceplus.jar, jgskit.dll (win32, win64) llibjgskit.so on AIX(ppc, ppc64) libjgskit.so - Linux platforms libbjgsikt.so - zOS . This APAR will be fixed in the following Java Releases: 8 SR7 FP5 (8.0.7.5) . Contact your IBM Product's Service Team for these Service Refreshes and Fix Packs.
