Problem summary

  • There is the possibility of in-memory Kerberos keytab parsing
    errors due to a multi-threading race condition
    during KeyTab class instantiation.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Added a "synchronized" modifier to the KeyTab.getInstance()
    method to eliminate the multi-threading race
    condition during Kerberos keytab class instantiation.
    The files affected by this APAR are: ibmjgssprovider.jar (Java 7
    & 7.1: build_20211118--134, Java 8: build_20211118--133).
