APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Problem:
    When user has Screen Reader checked. When Navigating to another
    Work Order in Work Order Tracking from the Location > View Work
    Details Dialog upon returning to the original work order the
    long description now shows invalid binding, unable to change
    tabs, selecting new Work Type value doesn't update record.
    
    The "Return" fails to go to the dialog and returns user
    directly to work order tracking
    
    STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
    *Make sure user has Screen Reader checked in User application*
    1. Go to Work Order Tracking
    2. Bring up any Work Order, such as 1000
    3. In Location Field>View Work Details
    4. On Work Order 5007>Go To Work Order Tracking
    5. Now hit Return to Work Order Tracking, screen returns to
    Work Order 1000.
    6. Open Long Description
    You will see Invalid Bindings, you are not able to change tabs
    and records won't update for certain fields. You can return to
    Home (Start Center) to get out of the issue.
    
    RESULT:
    User is returned to Work Order Tracking main tab, rather then
    View Work Details dialog. Invalid Bindings in Long Description
    and app is in a unusable state
    
    EXPECTED RESULT:
    User returned to View Work Details Dialog and normal
    application behavior, no invalid bindings, navigation as usual
