APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • The total work units aren?t being calculated on the PM or Work
    Order when there are nonlinear assets used in a route. The Work
    Units appear to total correctly in the Job Plans Simulator
    Functionality.
    
    STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
    
    Prerequisites:
    
    1. Navigate to System Properties
    a. Set ?dynamicjobplan? Global Value to 1
    b. Click Save
    
    c. Select (check) the dynamic job plan system property
    d. Click ?Live Refresh?
    e. Click ?OK? in the ?Live Refresh dialog
    f. Ensure the ?Current Value? is now 1
    2. Navigate to Organizations
    a. Filter for your current org (eg EAGLENA)
    b. Select ?More Actions > Work Order Options > Edit Rules
    c. Set Dynamic Job Plan to ?checked? for WAPPR
    d. Click ?OK?
    
    Steps:
    
    
    1. Navigate to the Job Plan application
    a. Create Job Plan
    i. ?Dynajob?
    b. Set ?Is Dynamic?? = Checked
    c. Set Work Unit Fields
    i. 1.0
    ii. EACH
    e. Select the Labor tab
    f. Click ?New Row?
    i. Choose current Org (eg EAGLENA)
    ii. Choose Craft ?ELECT?
    iii. Set Hours = 1
    iv. Set ?Calculation? = PROPORTIONAL
    g. Save job plan
    h. Change Status to ?ACTIVE?
    i. Select Action ?Simulate Dynamic Job Plan
    j. Move to the Multiple Asset, Locations and CI table window
    i. New Row
    1. Select any non-linear asset (eg CAL100)
    ii. New Row
    1. Select any other non-linear asset (eg CAL101)
    iii. Click ?Simulate? (bottom left in dialog)
    1. Notice that the Labor Hours = 2
    a. That is correct.
    3. Navigate to Work Order Tracking
    a. ?New Work Order?
    i. ?dynawo1?
    b. Enter Job Plan
    i. dynajob
    ii. (Observe that the unit of measure for ?Total Work Units? =
    EACH
    c. Move to the Multiple Asset, Locations and CI table window
    i. New Row
    1. Select any non-linear asset (eg CAL100)
    ii. New Row
    1. Select any other non-linear asset (eg CAL101)
    d. Click SAVE
    f. Navigate to the Plans Tab
    i. Notice that the Regular Hours for ELECT = 2 (Correct)
    
    RESULT:
    Total Work Units = BLANK
    
    
    EXPECTED RESULT:
    
    The correct value should be 2
