APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When a user right-clicks on a region in one of the CICS Explorer
  views, an Unhandled Loop is reported. The CICS SM/PA integration
  will only show Performance Summary data if there is also
  Application Summary data in the database.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• When using CICS Explorer and the Performance Analyzer plug-in, a
  user right-clicks on a region in one of the CICS Explorer views
  and rather than the context menu opening up, an Unhandled Loop
  is reported.
  

Problem conclusion

• CICS Explorer changed behaviour between versions 5.4 and 5.5 to
  use Eclipse's E4 views and these handle selections differently.
  - CICS Performance Analyzer plug-in has been updated so that
  when the user is able to select Performace History ->
  Transaction Summary, the Transaction Summary view now opens.
  - When calling dbquery for Performance Summary, CICS Performance
  Analyzer plug-in has been updated so that Performance Summary
  data will be shown even if there is no Application Summary data
  in the database.
  This fix will be made available in Version 5.4.0.8 of the CICS
  Performance Analyzer plug-in for CICS Explorer.
