Error description

  • In the Graphical Crew Management (GCM) application drag and
drop on the Assignment tab does not work. When you drag an
orange bar down from the crew row to a labor and save, the bar
will stay orange and return to the crew row as if it was still
unassigned. When you look at the Crews application you see
the assignment row but you do not see it in GCM. If you try
to assign it again in GCM it will say you cannot do it as it
already exists but you don't see it.
In the database you may see that the Effective Date and the End
Date are both at 00:00:00 or you may see the proper times, but
the assignment bar does not stay with the Labor it was dragged
to. It returns to the Crew unassigned section.
    STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
    1. Go to Crafts and make sure at least 2 Crafts have the Crew
checkbox checked so they can be used with Crews. If not,
check it for 2 and Save.
    2. Go to Crew Type and create a new Crew Type.
    3. In the Required Craft section add 2 rows, one for Leader and
one for Helper. Use the Crafts that had Crew checked.
    4. Go to Crews and create a new crew using the new Crew Type.
Do not make any labor assignments for this new Crew.
    5. Go to GCM and create a new Crew List for the new Crew or
Crew Type. Give it a Start of next week. Save.
6, Go to the Assignments tab and drag one of the orange bars
down to one of the labor rows and release it.
    7. Save
    RESULTS:
As discussed above the orange bar does not stay on the chosen
labor and returns to the Crew section for the unassigned
    assignments.
    EXPECTED RESULTS:
For the bar to turn green and stay where you left it.
