Error description
Problem details: ================= A meter reading added to an inspection form question cannot be deleted, if the meter reading has the "%" character in the meter name. The key is to have two meters, that contain simlar name, such as: "CH4%" and "CH4PPM". Only the "CH4%" meter reading is used in any inspection form. When the use clicks on the delete button, there is no error in the UI and the meter reading is removed from the inspection form. However, after you save the inspection form, go back to the Library Form, edit the Inspection form again, then the question, the user sees the meter he just deleted. STEPS TO REPRODUCE: =================== 1. Login to maximo with maxadmin. 2. Go to Meters and create two new meters: Name: CH4%" and "CH4PPM" Both meters have Type: GAUGE 1. Set up form name Create a question, "Q1" Add meter input Type "CH4" and select "CH4%" meter Save question. Done button. Save form. Edit form. 3. Log in to the Manage Inspection Forms work center as Theodore Seville, username "theo". 4. The user is presented with 11 active inspection forms. 5. Create a new inspection form. 6. Edit it and create a question, "Q1". 7. Add a meter reading input. 8. Select the "CH4%" meter. 9. Click on Done. The user is taken back to the Form Questions. 10. Click on Save. Maximo displays the message that the form was updated. 13. Select again the form created in step #5. 14. Click on the Edit button. 15. Select the question, then click Edit. The meter reading I added in step #6 is visible. 16. Delete the meter reading. 17. Click on Done. 18. Click on Save. Maximo displays the message that the form was updated. 19. Select again the form created in step #5. 20. Click on the Edit button. 21. Select the form question, then click Edit. The meter reading is still displayed. EXPECTED BEHAVIOUR: ==================== The meter reading should be deleted.
