  Verified this is true in latest 7612 IFIX. The following
  functions are all missing the descriptions.
  -SUBYMD
  -ADDYMD
  -MSINCE
  -SUBSTRING
  -NUMBER
  -ISERROR
  -THROW
  -CONTAINS
  
  STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
  
  1. Go to Database Configuration app
  2. In More Actions> Add/Modify Formula Functions
  look up follow
  -SUBYMD
  -ADDYMD
  -MSINCE
  -SUBSTRING
  -NUMBER
  -ISERROR
  -THROW
  -CONTAINS
  There are no descriptions
  3. Or SELECT * FROM EXPFUNCTIONS WHERE description IS null
  It will show the 8 rows where description is blank
  -SUBYMD
  -ADDYMD
  -MSINCE
  -SUBSTRING
  -NUMBER
  -ISERROR
  -THROW
  -CONTAINS
  
  RESULT:
  Descriptions are blank for 8 ootb functions

  Description are provided so customer knows what they do
