Error description

  • PROBLEM:
In the Labor Assignment tab of Crews Application, try assigning
multiple labors to the same position without saving. When
selecting the replace option on message BMXAT0347W, the labor
does not replace the previous one.

When changing the Crew record status to inactive, Maximo
    throws the error like below:
    	BMXAA8229W - Record AMCREWLABOR : Organization=XXX Crew=YYY
Position=ZZZ Unique Id=123 has been updated by another user.
Your changes have not been saved. Refresh the record and try
    again.

    STEPS TO REPLICATE:

    	1. In Crews application, create a new crew with two positions
(e.g. DRIVER and LEADER) and save the record.
2, Go to "Labor Assignments" tab.
    	3. Add one labor to position DRIVER and two (or more) labors to
position LEADER (do not save when adding labors).
    	4. Save the Record. Maximo pops up a message box:
BMXAT0347W - Labor COY is already assigned as LEADER for the
specified date. Do you want to replace labor COY with labor
CONTE? Click Yes to replace labor COY with labor CONTE. Click No
to assign labor CONTE as an additional resource to this crew.
    	5. Select Yes when asked if you want to replace old labor with
new one. The labor CONTE does not replace the old labor COY .
    	6. When changing the above crew status to inactive. Maximo
    throws the below error message:
Maximo throws the below error and no labor will be removed or
    have end date set:
    	BMXAA8229W - Record AMCREWLABOR : Organization=XXX Crew=YYY
Position=LEADER Unique Id=123 has been updated by another user.
Your changes have not been saved. Refresh the record and try
    again.

    EXPECTED RESULTS:
    	1. When selecting Yes on the above step 5, the labor COY should
    be replaced by labor CONTE.
    	2. When changing the crew status to inactive, user should not
    get the error.
