Error description

  • PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
    7612 - Desktop Requisition - After attaching a document on line,
    header of the Requisition changed
    When Requisition is summited for a line which has attachment,
    header of the requisition is changed to a different details. Can
    not create requisition.
    STEPS TO REPLICATE:
    1 - Login in Maximo as Administrator user.
    2 - Go to Self Service / Desktop Requisition / Create
    Requisition.
    On Step 1.
    Create a new Requisition, Complete the fields as below:
    Requisition - (This field will have an automatic numbering)
    Description - "Test Requisition with attachments"
    3 - Click Continue.
    On Step 2.
    4 - Go to Requisitions Line Items, fill the fields as below:
    Line 1
    Line Type: Service
    Item description: Test Requisition 1035 attachments.
    5 - Go to Attachments button/ Add Neew Attachment / Add New File
    
    Select any text document and attach to the record. Include a
    name and description for this attachment file.
    Click OK.
    Erroneos Behavior:
    You will notice that the requisition number and description
    created on step 1 was changed.
    Expected Behavior:
    Requisition number and description shouldn't change.
    This behavior only occurs if there is an attachment on the
    Requisition Line Items and Type= Service.
    If you repeat the test without attachments, the fields does not
    change.
