APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • In this scenario, please consider the following:
    - The Site record is associated to time zone America/Los_Angeles
    (GMT - 8 DST/Y) Pacific Time (US & Canada).
    - In the Maximo user profile, the time zone is set as
    America/Los_Angeles (GMT - 8 DST/Y) Pacific Time (US & Canada).
    - In the user client machine, Windows > Regional Settings > Time
    Zone is set as (UTC-08:00) Pacific Time (US & Canada).
    - Both Maximo app and database servers' time zones are set as
    (UTC-05:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada).
    
    STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
    
    1. Login to Maximo as maxadmin.
    
    2. Go to Organizations application.
    
    3. Bring up EAGLENA Organization and add a new Site (SITE1) to
    that Organization.
    
    4. Associate the Time Zone America/Los_Angeles (GMT - 8 DST/Y)
    Pacific Time (US & Canada) to SITE1 and save it.
    
    5. Go to Users application.
    
    6. Create a new user (user1) associated to MAXADMIN Group and:
    Default Insert Site: SITE1
    Time Zone: America/Los_Angeles (GMT - 8 DST/Y) Pacific Time (US
    & Canada)
    
    7. Login to Maximo as user1.
    
    8. Go to Assets application.
    
    9. Create the new Asset record with any number, save the record
    and change its Status to Operating.
    
    10. Go to Preventive Maintenance application.
    
    11. Create a new PM record associated to the Asset above.
    
    12. Go to Frequency tab > Time Based Frequency sub-tab and enter
    the following info:
    Frequency: 7
    Frequency Units: Days
    Estimated Next Due Date: tomorrow's date
    Target Start Time: 4:00 AM
    
    13. Save the record.
    
    14. In the Target Start Time field, click on Select Date and
    Time icon.
    
    RESULTS:
    The lookup opens highlighting 01:00 AM. This is the issue.
    
    EXPECTED RESULTS:
    The lookup should open highlighting 04:00 AM instead.
