Error description

  • ERROR DESCRIPTION:
    Revise button in Advanced Search is read by JAWS without
    indication of dropdown.
    
    PROBLEM:
    The role of the Revise Menu dropdown button cannot be
    understood. This element is read as a button.
    JAWS reads "Revise Menu button. Press Enter to activate".
    There should be an indication to a non-sighted user of a
    dropdown menu being present on the Revise Menu button.
    
    STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
    1 - Log into Maximo
    2 - Navigate to Go To -> Administration -> Resources -> Labor,
    Labor application is displayed.
    3 - Press Enter to populate data, Labor data is populated.
    4 - Navigate to the "Advanced Search"
    5- Navigate to Revise Menu. Revise Menu button .
    6- There is no indication for a sighted user that there is a
    dropdown menu present on this button.
    JAWS reads "Revise Menu button. Press Enter to activate".
    There should be an indication to a non-sighted user of a
    dropdown menu being present on the Revise Menu button.
    
    CURRENT ERRONEOUS RESULT:
    JAWS reads "Revise Menu button. Press Enter to activate".
    There should be an indication to a non-sighted user of a
    dropdown menu being present on the Revise Menu button.
    
    EXPECTED RESULT:
    JAWS provides indication to a non-sighted user of a dropdown
    menu being present on the Revise Menu button.
