Error description

  • The RELOADCACHE attribute in the SERVERSESSION object is being
updated by values that exceed the field length of the attribute.

    PROBLEM:

The RELOADCACHE attribute in the SERVERSESSION object is being
updated by values that exceed the field length of the attribute.

    This causes integration to fail.

The administrator needs to clear the values from
SERVERSESSION.RELOADCACHE to allow integration to work.

SERVERSESSION.RELOADCACHE is being zeroed out for some entries.
The 'DOMETAG' entries are not being zeroed out. Only DOMETAG
values are not being zeroed out. DOMETAG are domain value
    changes.

    PERFORMANCE ISSUE: No.

    STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

Keep monitoring the SERVERSESSION.RELOADCACHE attribute to check
how long the list is in the environment.

    CURRENT ERRONEOUS RESULT:

The MAXSESSION.RELOADCACHE is not being zeroed out every 60
    seconds.

    EXPECTED RESULT:

The MAXSESSION.RELOADCACHE should be zeroed out every 60
    seconds.

    ENVIRONMENT (SYSTEM INFO):

    Tivoli's Process Automation Engine 7.6.1.1-IFIX20190820-1611

Problem conclusion

  • The fix is to introduce a system property
mxe.oslc.cachedomainlookup. The default value is false. If it
is false, it doesn't look up the domain cache and therefore
doesn't write to the RELOADCACHE field.
