APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
    
    1. In site BEDFORD, create rotating asset ABC1 in location
    SOFTWARE. Use item ACCUDRAW. Change status to OPERATING.
    
    2. In site FLEET, create a work order in Work Order Tracking for
    asset A5008, location TORTERM. Approve the work order.
    
    3. On the Actuals tab, Materials subtab, click New Row. Set
    siteid BEDFORD, storeroom SOFTWARE, itemnum ACCUDRAW, quantity
    1, and rotating asset ABC1. Save.
    
    * Asset ABC1 will be moved to FLEET location TORTERM. The move
    will necessarily create rotating asset ABC1 in FLEET location
    TORTERM. Asset ABC1 in site BEDFORD will be DECOMMISSIONED
    because of the move.
    
    4. Bring up asset ABC1 in the FLEET site. Use Move/Modify Assets
    to move it back to the SOFTWARE location in site BEDFORD.
    
    * Asset ABC1 in site BEDFORD will now be OPERATING again. Asset
    ABC1 in site FLEET will be DECOMMISSIONED.
    
    5. Change the status of FLEET asset T2009 to OPERATING.
    
    6. Create PM PM234 in site FLEET for asset T2009. Give it an
    Estimated Next Due Date of today. Activate the PM.
    
    7. Generate a work order from PM234 and take note of the work
    order number.
    
    8. Bring up the newly generated work order in Work Order
    Tracking. The assetnum will be T2009 and the location will be
    TORTERM. Approve this work order.
    
    9. On the Actuals tab, Materials subtab, click New Row. Set
    siteid BEDFORD, storeroom SOFTWARE, itemnum ACCUDRAW, quantity
    1, and rotating asset ABC1. Save.
    
    10. Go to PM PM234.
    
    RESULTS:
    Notice that the status is INACTIVE. This is not correct. This PM
    should not have been deactivated.
    
    EXPECTED RESULTS:
    If asset ABC1 in site BEDFORD had a PM, that PM should be
    deactivated.
