IJ33266: MULTIPLE DEFAULT VENDOR SET FOR AN ITEM

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• PROBLEM:
  Able to set multiple default vendor for an item which is not
  desired. Expected to only have one default vendor per item.
  
  STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
  1. Open the Item Master application
  2. Create a new record
  3. Move to the Vendors tab
  4. Select the New Row button
  5. Insert the Vendor SWKING and enable the 'Default Vendor?'
  checkbox
  6. Select the save button
  7. Select the new Row button again
  8. Insert the Vendor DATACHIP and enable the 'Default Vendor?'
  checkbox
  9. Select the new Row button a third time.
  10. Insert the Vendor ATI and enable the 'Defailt Vendor?'
  checkbox
  11. Now select the save button
  
  Expected Results:
  Only one of the vendors should be enable to be the default
  vendor for the item
  
  Results:
  The vendors added consecutively without selecting the save
  button both have the 'Default Vendor?' checkbox enabled
