APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Problem Description:
    When the option "Generate Work Order Based on Meter Readings (Do
    Not Estimate)" is selected, the Meter-Based PM does not follow
    Seasonal Dates.
    
    STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
    
    1. Go to Assets application.
    
    2. Create a new Asset with any valid number and change its
    Status to Operating.
    
    3. Go to Meters tab, click on New Row button, enter the
    following info and save the record:
    Meter: ODOM-M
    Average Calculation Method: ALL
    Reading Type: ACTUAL
    
    4. Enter a Meter Reading=100.
    
    5. Go to Preventive Maintenance application.
    
    6. Create a new Meter-Based PM record as the following:
    PM: any valid PM number
    Asset: the Asset created above
    Meter: ODOM-M
    Frequency: 200
    
    7. Select the option "Generate Work Order Based on Meter
    Readings (Do Not Estimate)?".
    
    8. Go to Seasonal Dates tab.
    
    9. Uncheck today's weekday. In this example, Wednesday.
    
    10. Save the PM record and change its Status to Active.
    
    11. Go back to Assets application.
    
    12. Bring up the Asset in question, enter a Meter Reading=400.
    
    13. Go back to Preventive Maintenance application.
    
    14. Bring up the PM in question and try to generate the Work
    Order.
    In Generate Work Orders dialog:
    . Leave "Generate WOs Due Today Plus This Number of Days" set to
    zero.
    . Leave the option "Use Frequency Criteria" selected.
    . Click OK.
    
    RESULTS:
    The WO is generated, but today is Wednesday and this weekday is
    not selected in the PM Seasonal Dates tab.
    
    EXPECTED RESULTS:
    The WO should be generated on Thursday.
