IJ32033: CREW WORK GROUP DOES NOT POPULATE ON ASSIGNMENT WHEN PLANNED LABOR IS EDITED ON AN APPROVED WORK ORDER

Error description

• DESCRIPTION:
  When the Organization's Work Order Edit Rules setting allow
  WPLABOR editing on APPR, the Crew Work Group field value does
  not get populated on the resulting Assignment if the Labor row
  is edited on an approved Work Order
  
  STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
  1. Log in to maxdemo instance
  2. Go To Administration | Organizations
  3. In the Organization field enter "eaglena" and press Enter
  4. Click EAGLENA
  5. More Actions | Work Order Options | Edit Rules
  6. In the WP Labor? column click the checkbox for APPR
  7. Click OK
  8. Save the record
  9. Log out
  10. Log in
  11. Go To Work Orders | Work Order Tracking
  12. Common Actions | New Work Order
  13. In the Location field enter "br200" and tab out
  14. In the Crew Work Group field | Detail Menu | Select Value
  15. Click NORTH
  16. Common Actions | Approve Work Order
  17. Click OK
  18. On the Plans tab | Labor sub-tab | click the New Row button
  19. Observe that the Crew Work Group field populates with the
  value that was selected previously
  20. In the Craft field | Detail Menu | Select Value | Click
  CARP FIRSTCLASS
  21. Save the record
  22. On the Assignments tab expand the details for the row
  23. The Crew Work Group field is not populated
  24. Common Actions | New Work Order
  25. In the Location field enter "br200" and tab out
  26. In the Crew Work Group field | Detail Menu | Select Value
  27. Click NORTH
  28. Save the record

  The Crew Work Group field does not populate the Assignment when
  Craft is added to planned labor on an Approved Work Order when
  Organization's editing rules allow it

  Craft is added to planned labor on an Approved Work Order when

Local fix

• Populate the Crew Work Group field on the Assignments tab
  manually after approval and Save the record again
