IJ31004: CANNOT ADD 100% CONDITION CODE TO ITEM

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When a condition enabled item is transferred to a storeroom it
  has not been added to, the system allows you to do this and
  auto creates the inventory record. But if you transfer an item
  that is not condition rate 100 then you can never add condition
  rate 100 to inventory costs afterwards.
  
  The error message
  is:
  BMXAA2103E - Cannot add this 100% condition code to item
  XXXX. There is already a 100% condition code defined for this
  item.
  
  STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
  1.	Open the Item Master
  application
  2.	Click to create a new item
  using:
  a.	Description: Test Item Condition Enabled
  b.	Condition
  Enabled? checked
  c.	In the Condition Codes area using <New
  Row> add 2 condition codes:
  i.	NEW ? Condition
  Rate:100
  ii.	USED ? Condition Rate: 30
  d.	Click on
  Save
  3.	Click on Change Status and change the status to
  ACTIVE
  4.	Click on Add Item to Storeroom
  a.	Select the
  storeroom CENTRAL then click OK
  b.	In the Add Items to
  Storeroom screen enter:
  i.	Default Bin: BIN_NEW
  ii.	Issue Unit:
  EACH
  iii.	Click OK
  5.	Open the Inventory application and open
  the details of the item created
  6.	In the Inventory Costs area
  there is one row for condition code NEW
  a.	Click on New Row and
  select the condition code USED
  7.	In the Inventory Balances
  area there is already a row with balance 0 for condition code
  NEW
  a.	Click on New Row and fill in:
  i.	Bin:
  BIN_USED
  ii.	Condition Code: USED
  iii.	Current Balance:
  5
  8.	Click on Save
  9.	Open the Inventory Usage application and
  click on New. Fill in the following information:
  a.	Usage Type:
  TRANSFER
  b.	From Storeroom: CENTRAL
  c.	Click on New Row to add
  a usage line
  d.	Select the test item created
  e.	From Bin:
  BIN_USED
  f.	To Storeroom: GARAGE
  g.	To Bin: BIN_USED
  h.	Click
  Save
  i.	Click Change Status to Complete, click OK
  10.	Open the
  Inventory application and search the test item created
  11.	Open
  the details of the item in the storeroom GARAGE
  12.	In the
  Inventory Costs area notice that a row was added for condition
  code USED, but with the condition rate: 100
  13.	Click on New
  Row and select the condition code NEW. An error message is
  displayed: BMXAA2103E - Cannot add this 100% condition code to
  item XXXX. There is already a 100% condition code defined for
  this item.
  RESULT:
  A condition rate 100 cannot be added to
  inventory costs
  EXPECTED RESULT:
  A condition rate 100 should
  be possible to be added to inventory costs
