APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
    1. Go to Application Designer.
    2. Open the
    PO app.
    3. Access the properties from the Freight Terms field
    in the main tab.
    4. Make the field required and save.
    5. Go to
    PR application.
    6. Create 2 PRs (let's say PR1 and PR2), one
    with 2 lines and one with just 1 line, respectively.
    7. Approve
    both PRs.
    8. In PR1, click Create PO (let's name it PO1) from
    under More Actions.
    9. Go to PO application.
    10. Open PO1.
    11.
    Under More Actions, click Copy PR Line Items To PO.
    12. Select
    the one item from PR2 and click OK.
    13. BMXAA4195E message
    error will be thrown.
    14. Click OK in the error dialog and
    close the Copy PR Line Items To PO dialog.
    15. Move to the PO
    Lines tab.
    16. You'll see that line from PR2 was copied
    anyways.
    17. Mark all 3 rows for delete and click save.
    18.
    Message BMXAA4195E will be displayed again and will move you to
    the main tab as soon as you click OK.
    19. Fill out the Freight
    Terms Field and save.
    20. "BMXAA3404E - PR PUR1 status changed
    to APPR" message will appear at the top.
    21. Go back to the PR
    app and filter for PR1 and PR2, making sure you're also
    displaying the History records in the results.
    22. Open PR2 and
    PR1 and move to the PR Lines tab.
    23. Expand the only line it
    has and check its Related Records section.
    24. You'll see that
    it's still related to PO1, despite it not being registered as
    one of the lines in PO1, causing data
    inconsistency.
    
    
    RESULT:
    PR line is related to PO, despite not
    being a PO line.
    
    
    EXPECTED RESULT:
    PR line to have a related
    PO only when it's part of a PO.
