APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • PROBLEM:
    Work Package Material Status in Work Order Tracking
    application is not working as designed
    
    STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
    1.
    Open Work Order Tracking
    2. Create a new Work Order
    3. Add an
    Asset (1010)
    4. Set the Work Type to CM
    5. Go to the Plans
    tab
    6. Add 2 new tasks in the Task section.
    7. Set the
    Estimated Duration to 15:00 for both tasks.
    8. Select to the
    Materials sub-tab and the 2 materials
    9. Select any item with
    the current balance greater than 0 (Pump100).
    10. Add the same
    item twice under the material tab.
    11. Set the Line Type as
    Item for both materials
    12. Set the quantity for each material
    (The total reservation for
    both materials will be greater then
    the current balance but each line will be less then the current
    balance)
    13. Approve the Work Order
    14. Go to Work Order tab
    and click on the refresh button to refresh material status.
    Material status will be set to PARTIAL
    15. Go back to the Work
    Order Material tab. For the first item set the quantity of the
    item greater then the current balance of the item that is set
    in the Inventory Application.
    For the second item set the
    quantity less then the current balance. (The total reservation
    for both materials will be greater then the current balance)
    
    16. Save the record.
    17. Go back to the Work Order tab and
    click refresh for the refresh material
    status.
    
    Results:
    Material status is being changed from PARTIAL
    to NONE.
    
    Expected Results:
    Material status should consider
    total quantity for all lines that have the same item and not
    only per line by line.
