Error description
CICS Explorer slowness specifically for our huge cicsplex environment. Currently CICS Explorer is not eligible for us to use due to the slow reponse time especially when browsing among the cicsplexes which has thousands of cics regions.
Local fix
Problem summary
When the CICSplex Explorer has a large number of CICSplexes each containing a number of regions in the order of 1000s, the orange text after the name of each CICSplex that indicates how many regions in the plex are active is very slow to appear and CICS Explorer is not very responsive.
Problem conclusion
The CICSplex Explorer and CICSplex Repositories view has been updated to include a new toolbar button to "Toggle decorators". This button will enable or disable decorators across both the CICSplex Explorer and CICSplex Repositories views. The button state will be stored within the user's workspace and retained across a CICS Explorer restart. . This fix will be made available in Version 5.5.0.10 of the CICS Explorer. .
