Error description

  • It is reported that CICS IA integration missing from CPSM
perspective.
It works for them from the CICSplex Explorer view
but they see issue in program and region view.
The Dependencies
option with CICS IA connection was not visible on their
end.
There needs to be a CICS IA plugin update for this as
requested.

Problem summary

* USERS AFFECTED: All users wanting to access dependency menu  *
*                 to view CICS IA data for a corresponding     *
*                 region, program and local transaction from   *
*                 CPSM perspective.                            *

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The dependency menu on right click of   *
*                      any program, region and local           *
*                      transaction was inconsistent.           *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION: Install the updated CICS IA 5.5 Plug-in.     *
****************************************************************

and local transaction was inconsistent.

Problem conclusion

  • Fix has been provided to make dependency menu consistent in
CPSM perspective.
This fix will be made available in version 5.5.0.5 of the CICS
IA Plug-in.
