APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
    
    1. Go to Item Master application.
    
    2. Create a new Item as the following and save:
    Item: any valid number
    Rotating: No
    Order Unit: EACH
    Issue Unit: EACH
    
    3. Change Item Status to ACTIVE, selecting the option "Roll New
    Status to Organizations and Inventory?".
    
    4. Select Action > Add Items to Storeroom.
    
    5. From Add Items to Storeroom dialog, enter the following info
    and click OK:
    BEDFORD Site
    CENTRAL Storeroom
    Unit Cost: 1.00
    Current Balance: 1.00
    
    6. Go to Inventory Usage application.
    
    7. Create a new Usage document as the following:
    - Usage Type: TRANSFER
    - From Storeroom: CENTRAL
    - Usage Line:
    . Line Type: Item
    . Quantity: 1.00
    . Item: the Item created above
    . To Site: NASHUA
    . To Storeroom: PKG
    
    8. Save the record.
    
    9. Change the status to Shipped.
    
    10. Go to Item Master application.
    
    11. Bring up the Item record to the screen.
    
    12. Note that the "Rotating?" check-box is editable.
    
    13. Select the "Rotating?" check-box.
    
    14. Save the record.
    
    RESULTS:
    The system allows to save the Item record, making it rotating
    while it is being transferred to another Site. This is the
    issue.
    
    EXPECTED RESULTS:
    The system should not allow to change the Item to rotating after
    it has been created, active and added to a Storeroom.
