IJ23361: EDIT MODE DOES NOT ALLOW RETURN WITH VALUE TO WORK ORDER TRACKING

Error description

• Attemp to change location of an existing work order in WAPPR
  status from the Location application (EDIT MODE ON) and
  return to Work Order Tracking with selected value gives
  warning
  
  Steps to replicate:
  Go to System Configuration -Platform Configuration -Application
  Designer
  Recall record LOCATION
  Place a Check in checkbox Edit Mode?
  Sign out of Maximo
  Sign in as user WILSON/wilson
  GO to Work Order Tracking application
  List View  -Status=WAPPR, hit enter
  select work order with a Location and Asset
  From Location field Hyperlink to Locations application
  Recall Location BR200
  Select Link Return with Value
  
  System Message is thrown:
  BMXAA4720E - The specified location does not contain the current
  asset. Do you want to update the asset with the asset that is in
  this new location - 11200? If you do not want to apply changes
  to the location or asset, click Close.
  
  Click on Yes
  
  System Message is thrown:
  
  BMXAA8973E - Your credentials do not have rights to edit this
  document (LOCATIONS : Site=BEDFORD Location=BR200). Turn on edit
  mode, or contact your administrator to continue.
  
  Click Close
  
  RESULT: you cannot return to WOT with any location value from
  the Locations application
  
  With edit mode disabled for Locations application,
  no error occurs after warning message, it returns with
  value and updates the glaccount/asset information.
  
  EXPECTED RESULT: This should behave in the same manner as when
  EDIT MODE is DISABLED
