Error description
PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: In Users application, security profile - authorized storerooms are not been displayed consistently. STEPS TO REPRODUCE: In Users, tab Security profile authorized storerooms not always displayed properly Prerequisites One selected test site (VCE) Within the test site five storerooms should exist. (A to E) A test user only authorized to default groups MAXEVERYONE and MAXDEFLTREG. (BPPMU03Q) MAXEVERYONE and MAXDEFLTREG should not have any site or storeroom access. Scenario steps 1. In Users select the test user. 2. Check the security profile 3. Only self-service applications granted. No site-specific applications visible. 4. This is OK 5. Create one new security group (Test1) and in Storerooms add Store A for the test site. 6. Grant group Test1 for the test user. 7. Expected result: No storeroom access due to no site access granted. 8. Refresh the user and check the security profile. 9. Actual Result: Only self-service applications granted. No site-specific applications visible. 10. This is OK 11. Create one new security group (Site1) and in Sites add the test site (VCE). 12. Grant group Site1 for the test user. 13. Expected result: Site access added and storeroom access to A enabled. 14. Refresh the user and check the security profile. 15. Actual result: With the added site access the storeroom access for A is also granted. 16. This is OK 17. Go to security group Test1 and add storeroom B for the test site. 18. Expected result: Storeroom access to B added. 19. Refresh the user and check the security profile. 20. Actual result: Storeroom B is also visible. 21. This is OK 22. Create one new security group (Test2) and in Storerooms add Store C for the test site. 23. Grant group Test2 for the test user. 24. Expected result: Test1 authorizes store A & B, Test2 authorizes C. Profile should display A, B & C. 25. Refresh the user and check the security profile. 26. Actual result: Storerooms A, B and C are visible. 27. This is OK 28. Go to security group Test2 and add storeroom B for the test site. 29. Expected result: Test1 authorizes store A & B, Test2 authorizes B & C. Profile should display A, B & C. 30. Refresh the user and check the security profile. 31. Actual result: Only storerooms A and B are visible. 32. This is Not OK 33. Go to security group Test2 and add storeroom D for the test site. 34. Expected result: Test1 authorizes store A & B, Test2 authorizes B, C & D. Profile should display A, B, C & D. 35. Refresh the user and check the security profile. 36. Actual result: Storerooms A, B & D are now visible, but C is not. 37. This is Not OK 38. Go to security group Test2 and remove storeroom B. 39. Expected result: Test1 authorizes store A & B, Test2 authorizes C & D. Profile should display A, B, C & D. 40. Refresh the user and check the security profile. 41. Actual result: Now storerooms A, B, C and D are visible. 42. This is OK 43. Go to security group Test2 and add storeroom E for the test site. 44. Expected result: Test1 authorizes store A & B, Test2 authorizes C, D & E. Profile should display A, B, C, D & E. 45. Refresh the user and check the security profile. 46. Actual result: Now storerooms A, B, C, D and E are visible. 47. This is OK 48. Go to security group Test1 and add storeroom C for the test site. 49. Expected result: Test1 authorizes store A, B & C, Test2 authorizes C, D & E. Profile should display A, B, C, D & E. 50. Refresh the user and check the security profile. 51. Actual result: Storerooms A, B, C & E are now visible, but D is not. 52. This is Not OK 53. Create one new security group (Test3) and in Storerooms add Store C for the test site. 54. Grant group Test3 for the test user. 55. Expected result: Test1 authorizes store A, B & C, Test2 authorizes C, D & E, Test3 authorizes C. Profile should display A, B, C, D & E. 56. Refresh the user and check the security profile. 57. Actual result: Storerooms A, B, C & E are now visible, but D is not. 58. This is Not OK 59. Go to security group Test3 and add storeroom A for the test site. 60. Expected result: Test1 authorizes store A, B & C, Test2 authorizes C, D & E, Test3 authorizes A & C. Profile should display A, B, C, D & E. 61. Refresh the user and check the security profile. 62. Actual result: Storerooms A, B, C & E are now visible, but D is not. 63. This is Not OK 64. Go to security group Test3 and add storeroom D for the test site. 65. Expected result: Test1 authorizes store A, B & C, Test2 authorizes C, D & E, Test3 authorizes A, C & D. Profile should display A, B, C, D & E. 66. Refresh the user and check the security profile. 67. Actual result: Storerooms A, B, C, D & E are now visible 68. This is OK 69. Go to security group Test2 and remove storeroom D. 70. Expected result: Test1 authorizes store A, B & C, Test2 authorizes C & E, Test3 authorizes A, C & D. Profile should display A, B, C, D & E. 71. Refresh the user and check the security profile. RESULTS: Storerooms A, B, C & D are now visible, but E is not. This is Not OK. EXPECTED RESULTS: When a user has multiple security groups granting storeroom access and two or more groups give access to the same storeroom the tab Security Profile does not display the storeroom access properly. It hides any duplicate records but also one extra storeroom unless it also is authorized twice. PRODUCT VERSION: MAM 7.6.1.1 WORKAROUND: N/A
