Error description

  • Error Message: Exception in thread "MemoryMXBean notification
dispatcher" java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: committed value
cannot be larger than the max value
.

Local fix

  • disable LOA by java option -Xnoloa

Problem summary

  • The problem is caused by mismatch heap aligment during
calculating maximum LOA size for gc notification reporting.

Problem conclusion

  • The JVM has been updated to the calculating the size in gc
notification reporting to match heap aligment.
.
This APAR will be fixed in the following Java Releases:
   8    SR6 FP5   (8.0.6.5)
